Hailing from Arlington, Texas native Kendra Remedios brings Lone Star grit and southern charm to the country music scene, making her mark in Nashville since November 2022. A top 100 finalist on American Idol 2011-2012, she earned the nicknames "country Adele" and "southern Amy Winehouse" for her powerhouse vocals and fusion of southern rock and blues.
Starting her musical journey at 7, Remedios honed her skills on Dallas Fort Worth stages, culminating in her April 2021 debut EP, "The Beginning," showcasing vocal prowess and songwriting talent. Tracks like "Daddy and Me" delve into family struggles, providing an authentic core to her music, paying tribute to her proud father.
Balancing dual roles as a dental hygienist by day, Remedios exemplifies determination, weaving the contrast of stage lights, writing rooms, and the dental chair into her story. Beyond music, she proves dreams are worth pursuing, even with a double life.
