Biography & Music
Kendra Remedios is a rising country music artist currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, originally from Arlington, Texas. She blends Lone Star grit, and elements of southern rock to create her own distinctive brand of contemporary country music marked by soulful blues undertones and sincere storytelling.

Her journey into music began at an early age, when she first discovered the smoky, blues-tinged quality that would come to define her style. Her impressive presence stood out even as a teenager. She advanced to Hollywood Week in both Season 11 and Season 12 of American Idol, with judges likening her talent to celebrated artists such as Amy Winehouse and Adele.

Kendra’s has an unwavering passion for storytelling, blending soulful melodies with heartfelt lyrics. Her songs explore themes of love, loss, challenging relationships, and self-discovery with equal parts vulnerability and fire, often drawing inspiration from her own life experiences. One of her earliest releases, "Daddy and Me," is a deeply personal tribute to her father, who passed away that same year. Since relocating to Nashville in 2022, she has written and released "Bad Goodbye," "Texas to Tennessee," "Hot Mess," and " Darlin,” and has become an active participant in Nashville’s vibrant songwriting circuit.

In the fall of 2023, Kendra assembled her band, which now performs throughout the region. In 2026, she is participating in The Voice’s Battle of the Champions. Onstage, her energetic and engaging shows feature her distinctive voice—raspy yet smooth backed by a spunky, captivating presence that wins audiences over quickly. With her distinctive brand of country music and a "fired up" drive for what's next, Kendra Remedios is an artist worth watching.
